‘Unbeatable’ Fury determined to stick to retirement pledge

LONDON
Tyson Fury, a man who wore nothing but tight-fitting shorts, seized the flabby portion of his belly and began shaking it.
He said, “I’m a normal-looking guy.” said, “an average Joe.”
This world heavyweight champion is the first to combine self-deprecation and self-promotion.
Fury had already recited all of his titles in a turbulent boxing career. He might have even ended it with a sixth-round knockout of Dillian Whyte in front 94,000 Londoners at Wembley Stadium.
“I’m proud that I have won two English titles and two British titles. I also won the Commonwealth title, the Irish title, and the European title. WBO intercontinental. WBO super. WBA super. IBF, IBO. Ring Magazine, lineal. WBC. I have won every belt possible. He stated, “There’s nothing more to be done.” saidThe bowels of England’s national soccer stadium.
“This would definitely be completed if it were a computer-based game.”
It’s not true, however. One final thing might start to nag at the man who claims he is retiring as the “best heavyweight there has ever be.”
Can Fury refuse the opportunity to hold all heavyweight titles and become the undisputed world champion? Each belt was held by Fury at one point in his 14-year professional career. This includes a three-year break during which he struggled with mental health issues, drug abuse and depression. He tried to commit suicide several times. But he never did it all at once.
In a high-stakes, legacy-defining fight, beating the winner of Oleksandr Usyk’s rematch with Anthony Joshua would be the best way to go.
Fury is wrong.
“I’ve achieved everything I ever wanted,” he said. said. “I am retiring as the only heavyweight in history to retire undefeated, after Rocky Marciano.
“I was unbeatable in this game.”
Fury is 33 years old saidParis gave him the word that he would not quit after completing his incredible trilogy of fights in which he fought Deontay wilder. He won in Las Vegas in Oct. He wanted to be unhurt, unbeaten, and on his terms. He also wanted to spend more time with his six children.
He was nevertheless persuaded to return to the ring against Whyte, in front of the largest ever boxing crowd in Britain.
He won his 32nd bag victory Saturday, with a brutal uppercut that sent Whyte to death. This gave him a memorable walkout knockout for U.K. fans.
This is the end for Fury, the towering Fury. It’s hard to believe that he’s gone. But it was quite a career in and outside of the ring.
In 2015, Wladimir Klotschko ended his decade-long reign of champ in the Ukrainian boxing city of Dusseldorf. That was the night that he made his debut to the world. It was his Wilder trilogy in America, where he shifted from a pragmatic, back-foot boxer to an aggressive, out-of-the-face approach that cemented his position as the best heavyweight in the last decade.
His links with Daniel Kinahan, who was named this month by U.S. officials as one the heads of an international organized crime gang that is involved in drug-trafficking operations, firearm offenses, and other crimes, have plagued him over the years, especially before the Whyte fight. After dethroning Klitschko, he made homophobic and misogynistic comments which saw him heavily criticised in Britain. For having high levels of cocaine in his urine, he was subject to a two-year ban.
Others prefer to view him as an icon of coming back from the brink. He ballooned in size, became addicted to drugs, and drank heavily. saidHe attempted suicide after winning the world heavyweight title and becoming the No. 1 heavyweight.
He’s also an entertainer by nature, performing in the ring after each fight and even appearing at a press conference as Batman.
He is, above all, a skilled boxer who comes from a long line of bare-knuckle champions.
“There has never been anyone who could beat my,” said Gypsy King. said. “You want to know why?” My 6-foot-9 frame and 270-pound weight can move like a middleweight. I can also hit like a storm and take a punch as well as anyone else. I have the heart of a Lion and the mindset of the Wizard of Oz.
Fury said that he might next compete at a WWE event. Fury teased the possibility of a mixed exhibition fight with UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou.
However, he would be more interested in fighting Usyk or Joshua.
Fury said, “I have given everything and put it on to the line every single day.” saidYou can’t have enough.
