Cristiano Ronaldo says one of his newborn twins has died

Cristiano Ronaldo posted on social media Monday to announce the death of one of his twins.

“It is with deepest sadness that we have to inform you that our baby boy passed away.” the Manchester United striker wrote in a postGeorgina Rodriguez, his partner, also signed.

It is the worst pain parents can feel.

Ronaldo and his wife announced last year that they were expecting twins.

On the social-media posting, he said that “only the birth and joy of our baby girl gives me the strength to live this moment with hope”

“We are all deeply saddened by this loss,” said the post. “We kindly request privacy during this very difficult time.” Our angel baby boy. We will always be your parents.”

Ronaldo had already four children.
